Clovis East Area
Join us this 2017 Thanksgiving Season as we create Thanksgiving Baskets for Transitional, Low-Income and/or Homeless families in the Clovis East Area. Our church gathers each Sunday morning at Reyburn and tries to look for opportunities to shine God's love and light to the school. One such opportunity is feeding families in the area. The Clovis East area incorporates both the High School (Clovis East), Junior High (Reyburn), and all the feeder Elementary Schools (Boris, Fancher Creek, Freedom, Miramonte, Oraze, Reagan, Temperance-Kutner). Clovis East staff has connected us with families in desperate need of care this holiday season.
2015 = Served 15 families
2016 = Served 30 families
2017 = Clovis East has given us 50 families to serve this season! 50!
What is in a Basket?
By donating $30, we keep all the baskets the same, purchasing traditional Thanksgiving Day food. Our basket includes:
Turkey, Yams, Potatoes, Cuties, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Green Beans, Pickles, Olives, Rolls, Pies, Rice, etc...
We fill the baskets based on the donations we have received. The more that comes in - the more shopping we do!
How can I get involved?
You can sponsor a family for $30 by visiting our Feed-A-Family table on Sunday morning. You can also complete the form below and then mail a $30 check to our Loma Vista church office (1030 Gettysburg, Suite #101 Clovis, CA 93612 C/O: Pastor Connie).
